Prevention of head injuries is an important factor in every safety program. The majority of workers were injured while performing their normal jobs at their regular worksites. A single injury can handicap an employee for life, or it can be fatal. Most workers who suffered impact injuries to the head were not wearing head protection, so make sure you are wearing a hard hat at all times. Most head injuries occur as the result of a fall, keep your fall protection equipment on at all times and check to make sure it is working properly.
